I, the weigher of the Kollenkode Sree Bhadrakali Devaswom, hereby agree in the name of the Goddess that from the day I observe the fast until the time the weigher's vow is completed, I will act in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Devaswom, and that the weigher appointed to perform my vow has been chosen with my own free will, and that all responsibility in the matter is vested in me.
കൊല്ലങ്കോട് ശ്രീഭദ്രകാളി ദേവസ്വത്തിലെ തൂക്കനേര്‍ച്ചക്കാരനായ ഞാന്‍ വ്രതം അനുഷ്ഠിക്കുന്ന ദിവസം മുതല്‍ തൂക്ക നേര്‍ച്ച തീരുന്ന സമയം വരെ ദേവസ്വം നിബന്ധനകള്‍ക്കു വിധേയമായി പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചുകൊള്ളാമെന്നും എന്‍റെ നേര്‍ച്ച നടത്തുവാന്‍ നിയോഗിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന തൂക്കക്കാരനെ എന്‍റെ സ്വന്തം ഇഷ്ട്ടത്താല്‍ ബോദ്ധ്യപ്പെട്ട് തെരെഞ്ഞെടുത്തിട്ടുള്ളതാണെന്നും ടിയാനില്‍ ഉള്ള സകല ഉത്തരവാദിത്വവും എന്നില്‍ നിക്ഷ്പിതമാണെന്നും ഇതിനാല്‍ ദേവിനാമത്തില്‍ സമ്മതിച്ചുകൊള്ളുന്നു.
கொல்லங்கோடு ஸ்ரீ பத்ரகாளி தேவஸ்வத்தின் எடைபோடும் மனிதனான நான், உண்ணாவிரத நாளிலிருந்து எடைபோடும் சபதம் முடியும் வரை தேவஸ்வம் நிபந்தனைகளின்படி வேலை செய்வேன் என்பதையும், எனது சபதத்தைச் செய்ய நியமிக்கப்பட்ட எடையாளர் எனது சொந்த விருப்பத்தால் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டவர் என்பதையும், தியானில் உள்ள அனைத்து பொறுப்புகளும் என்னுடன் பதிந்துள்ளன என்பதையும் தேவியின் பெயரால் ஒப்புக்கொள்கிறேன்.
